Winstar..Winstar..Damnit.

So I woke up this morning early, to take a break from getting screwed on PS, to head across the border to Winstar to try and make some money at Winstar Casino.

When I sit at the 1/2 NL table I sit with my normal $200 dollars.

I wasnt getting much action early. My first real big hand came when I had AK suited, and faced a raise of $12 from a mid stack of about $95. I re-raised the action to $40 dollars, which then the guy re-raises all-in for a total of 95

My AK clubs vs Opponents JJ

Flop: KK7
Turn:3
Riv:6

Was a nice start after a slow beginning.

I built my chip stack to about $400, up a little over $2oo when the downfall (2 hands) began.

I looked down and KK from the BB. 3 players limped in, so I made it $12 dollars total to play. I chased out two players but got 1 caller (from a tight player)

flop: 8 5 4 rainbow flop.

I bet out first, $30 dollars, right around the total of the pot, to hopefully chase out any draws, in-case he called with A6. The guy who called just made the call.

Turn:K (no flush possibility)

I tried to be cute here and see if I could get a bet out of him by playing weak, so I checked. As did he.

River: J

Feeling good with my Trip Kings, I bet out $90 dollars. The guy immediately raises all-in, for a total of $125 more. By this time I was feeling confident. I put him on a set by now or maybe a j8 suited. I looked at the board and saw only one hand could beat me (67 for the straight) but he had been playing so tight I couldnt see him calling preflop. I make the call. He flips over 67. Nicely played, awful turn for me. I was crushed.

So with about $145 now in chips down for the first time for the day. I looked to regroup. Not even three hands later, I look down at AA otb. It folded around to the guy to my right. Who raised to $10 dollars. I put on my acting face, waited, then reraised it to $40 dollars. The guy, played very loose all day, made the call.

flop: 10h 9h 4c

The man bet out $25 dollars. I had a total of $105 left, My main thought was him having pocket Jacks or Queens, since I didnt think he would bet out with a set, I pushed all-in. The man lowered his head and then looked at me and said "I have a hell of a drawing hand, I don't think I can lay it down" He called and flips over QJ of hearts

Turn: 8h

River: Unknown

I didn't even stay around to see the meaningless card, once that 8h hit I just got up and walked away..pissed..like on PS.

Hopefully tonight I can make some money, until then, my POTD nominee (coming from Winstar) will be known if the winner.
